Rice milk is a good alternative to occasionally replace traditional cow’s milk.
The best part is that you can do it at home!
- 8 cups of water.
- 1 cup of rice.
- 1 tablespoon of oil.
- 1 pinch of salt.
- Sweetener to taste (vanilla, cinnamon, honey, sugar).
Before preparing, it is necessary to leave the rice soaking in a container for about 2 hours. When the indicated time has passed, drain the rice and place it in a pot with the water, a pinch of salt and oil. Cook the mixture for 15 minutes or until the rice is soft. You can try some grains to make sure.
Then let it cool for 15 minutes and add the sweetener and crush everything in a blender.
Filter with a colander or a cloth and voila, you have a delicious rice milk!
