Passion fruit coquitos
Turn the skin of the passion fruit into a tasty sweet! Here nothing is thrown because creativity helps us prepare delicious snacks.
- 6 passion fruit, firm and smooth.
- 1 and a half cups of water
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- A shell of lemon peel.
Pre-wash the passion fruit; Remove the skin, cut in half and remove the pulp. You can do it with a teaspoon; this way you avoid losing the pulp. Then boil the husks for 30 minutes. Remove the peels and with the same water, mix the pulp and the liquids, then the strains to avoid having bits of peel.
Add that juice to the pot with the shells, along with the sugar, the clavitos and the lemon peel. Mix until a syrup forms and you already have a nice coquito of passion fruit.
This sweet is ideal for snacks.
